Thea Martin

Director of Sales

Thea is a born and raised San Diegan who lives and breathes for California sunshine and saltwater breezes. With over 15 years of experience in event sales and planning, her favorite part of the events world is that no two are ever the same. She graduated with a degree in English with plans to teach, however throughout her collegiate life she worked in hotel events and found a passion for not only the planning but the people she met along the way. She decided to follow that passion and has since executed events ranging from small and intimate weddings to city wide conventions with thousands of attendees. When not in the office, Thea’s life revolves around her three children and she can be found on a variety of sports fields (football, baseball, club softball and competitive cheer) rooting them on. Outside of the sports world, she is a glutton for DIY home improvement and makes the world’s best chocolate+toffee+sea salt cookies! Thea loves working with her team at Riverwalk and getting to combine her passion for both people and sports into what she does every day.
